4 Day Southern Highlights Tour (October - 2, 9, 16, 23)- SW4:

- DAY 1 (LD) -
Perth to Pemberton
Depart Perth heading South through Mandurah, Bunbury and Busselton
for a short stop at the famous Busselton Jetty. Continue through
the winery and dairy country onto timber region of Pemberton. Overnight:
Karri Valley Resort or Similar
- DAY 2 (BLD) -
Pemberton to Albany
An early start with a visit to the famous Glouster Tree in the spectacular
Karri Forests unique for various native orchids. Next onto Walpole
to the Valley of the Giants to visit the Tree Top Walk. Or descend
to the forest floor and explore the grove of Tingle trees known
as the "Ancient Empire". Continue east through Denmark
on to the historic town of Albany. Overlooking the beautiful King
George Sound, Albany maintains its historic links through many well-restored
heritage buildings. Tour the highlights of Albany, including the
Natural Bridge, The Gap and Whaling Station. Overnight: Quality
Inn or Similar
- DAY 3 (BLD) -
Albany
Today we explore the magnificent botanical reserve, The Stirling
Ranges, renowned for its vast variety of Wildflowers and spectacular
views. This area alone has over 500 varieties of wildflowers native
to the area, from delicate orchids to Wattles. Return back to Albany
via the scenic Porongurup Ranges. Overnight: Quality Inn or Similar
- DAY 4 (BL) -
Albany to Perth
Travel through Mount Barker, Kojonup and Williams through to Dryandra
Flora Reserve for our last chance to wander through the unique Wildflowers
before returning to Perth early evening.
