Monkey
Mia Tour:
Visit
the World Heritage Listed Shark Bay Region to meet the famous wild
dolphins and many other unique natural attractions.
As we leave Shark Bay we head south to Geraldton along the rugged
Batavia Coast. On the way your friendly touring team will entertain
you with stories of the history of the region. After dark settle
back and enjoy the return journey to Perth Shark Bay is a haven
for visitors who want to see WA's natural environment at its best.
Almost every day wild dolphins swim to within a metre of the shore
and mingle with their human visitors. Local rangers are on hand
at the beachfront to answer your questions about the dolphins and
to guide your interaction with them. This tour departs Perth in
the evening and drives through the night to deliver you to Monkey
Mia the following morning.
An experienced team of coach captains working in tandem ensure your
comfort and safety throughout. We allow up to four hours at the
Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort where you can enjoy breakfast overlooking
the beach or take a cruise to search for dolphins and other marine
life in the bay (all at your own expense).
Close by you can see the untouched beauty of Shell Beach, made up
of millions of tiny shells metres deep, as well as the ancient stromatolites
or 'living rocks' of Hamelin Pool. These are perhaps the oldest
living organisms on Earth.
